El Dorado® is a true, dual-purpose hop lending high alpha (13-17%) and intense flavor when used in later additions. Often described as sweet and hard candy-like, El Dorado® shines with bright flavors and aromas of pineapple, pear, watermelon and stonefruit. This exceptionally popular profile works well with other hops like Citra®, Azacca®, Mosaic® and Cashmere. Sweet, saturated, and unmistakably expressive.
EL DORADO® HOP SUBSTITUTIONS
El Dorado is a perfect dual purpose hop that carries wonderful pineapple aroma and flavor. Some brewers also note a hint of mango. Often used in IPAs, pale ales, and wheat beers. Hüll Melon and Ekuanot contain a lot of the same flavor profiles, making them the perfect substitutions for El Dorado.
